Our latest project, which we’ve lovingly named Riverwoods Oasis, was designed for an empty-nest couple who wanted their new home to feel fresh, calm, and deeply personal.
A First-Floor Refresh
The focus of this project was the entire first floor, and together we gave it a new life. The work included:
kitchen
A complete kitchen renovation that balanced functionality with a sleek, organic modern aesthetic. We removed the stovetop wall and opened up the space with a view of the family room.
Dining Room
Replacing the heavy and dreary furnishings and drapery with organic, modern pieces and soaring drapery panels uplifted the spirit of the dining room to new heights.
Living Room & Family Room
A redesigned fireplace in the living room and family room became the focal point of the first floor, offering warmth and subtle drama. A thoughtful mix of existing and new furnishings, carefully chosen to create harmony and comfort, while honoring what the couple already loved. Removing the two walls on either side of the two-sided fireplace unified the entire first floor.
Sunroom
Refinishing the floors, painting the walls, and adding furnishings that blend with the nature outside, elevated the sunroom into a bright gathering space.

Our clients’ personal style leaned toward Organic Modern, a look defined by its clean lines, natural textures, and a calming, monochromatic color palette. By layering warm wood tones, sleek surfaces, and soft fabrics, we created a home that feels both elevated and approachable. A perfect setting for this new chapter in their lives.
